SAXONBURG — The Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, in its third year, has announced its next exhibit will be “Dual Perspectives,” a two-person show of photography by Rebecca Andrew and metal sculpture by Sam Andrew.

A reception to open this husband-and-wife exhibit is planned for 6:30 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the gallery at 215 Main St., rear.

“Dual Perspectives” will feature about 15 of Sam's sculptures and 15 of Rebecca's photographs.

Sam has been exploring sculpture since his undergraduate years at Indiana (Pa.) University. He has mostly concentrated on equine-themed sculpture for the past few years, but a recent trip to the Southwest has him working on early native nations and environments.

Sam is the founder and current co-director of cooperative.

Rebecca exhibited art in a wide variety of media, including watercolors, plastics, drawings, metal, stone and fabrics, before settling into photography as her primary medium.

“Dual Perspectives” will continue through Feb. 18.
