BAKERSTOWN — “Esther, the Musical,” in its sixth season, reflects the Old Testament story of one woman who was inspired by God and changed the course of history.

The show goes on again at 7:30 p.m. March 2 and at 2 p.m. March 3 at First Presbyterian Church of Bakerstown, Route 8 and Heckert Road.

Written by Jeannie Allen of Valencia, “Esther, the Musical” is a Broadway-style show featuring 18 original songs in a variety of styles including jazz, opera, Hebrew, Jamaican and love songs.

Allen is a professional pianist, vocalist and teacher. She has written more than 100 original songs and had four albums released.

Admission is $10 for adults and $5 for children. The performance benefits missions to Honduras.
