CRANBERRY TWP — A pair of homes in Heartland Homes’ Mystic Ridge development will be featured in an episode of the design show “Showhouse Showdown” on HGTV this weekend.

The episode, featuring designers Alisha Gwen and Joe Berkowitz, is scheduled to be the season premiere episode at 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

HGTV and Stone & Co. Entertainment partnered with Heartland Homes in August to film the Cranberry show. The show also filmed in September in the Edgewater at Oakmont neighborhood.

In each episode, two professional interior designers take over two newly built houses with mirror-image floor plans to create five signature rooms in each house using an identical budget and schedule.

There will be an encore airing of the episode at 1:30 p.m. March 9.
