Slippery Rock University• The Slam Poetry Club hosts an evening featuring slam poet Anis Mojgani from 7 to 9 p.m. March 26 in the University Union’s Multi-Purpose Room. Admission is free. Slam poetry is a form of writing usually making a comment on modern society and delivered in a performance setting.• Eight young tap dancers will be featured March 30 in a celebration of American youth culture when SRU’s performing arts series offers “Tap Kids” as the final show of the season. Grove City CollegeGCC hosts “Shades of the Soul,” an art exhibition featuring the works of 2010 Paint America Top 100 Artist Shari Finney from Friday to March 23 in the Pew Fine Arts Center Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday. The exhibition consists of portraits, drawings and paintings.
