Seventies Singers
Back in December 1974, a group of 55 first graders in the Butler School District sang Christmas carols in the county courthouse. The youngsters were in four classes housed in St. Peter's School. Teachers with the group were Ruth Ipes, Mary Anthony, Joyce McCaslin and Betty Fry. Big Bird also made an appearance.
