JEFFERSON TWP— Friends of Christine Feagin, a leukemia patient, will perform a benefit music recital at 7 p.m. Monday at Thorn Creek United Methodist Church on Rockdale Road.

Feagin is the daughter of Mary and the Rev. Rich Feagin, the former pastor of Thorn Creek U.M. Church. There will be no admission charge, but an offering will be collected.

Saint Andrews United Presbyterian Church, 201 E. Jefferson St., will partner with Operation Spay Neuter to participate in the Ring in the Arts festivities in Butler on New Year's Eve.
