SARVER — The Pieceful Patchers Quilt Guild will host a presentation from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Heide Hall, 409 Sarver Road, Sarver.

Pat Knoechel will give a presentation on the Day & Night, the Lover's Knot, How Charming and Fox & Geese.

BUTLER TWP — The Paul Laurence Dunbar Community Center, 501 Fairground Hill Road, will start a caregiver support group.Those interested in joining should call Mary Ann at the center at 724-287-5648.

PENN TWP — The Nixon United Methodist Church women will hold their annual indoor rummage sale from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the church, 334 W. Airport Road.Proceeds will benefit the church ministries. Food will be available.

HARMONY — The Harmony Museum will hold a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 4 at Stewart Hall on Mercer Street. Lunch will be available.Proceeds support museum operations. Vendors may set up April 3.Call 724-452-5860 for table reservations and information.

BUTLER TWP — Butler Township will offer 30-gallon biodegradable bags from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday and from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Butler Township Municipal Building, 290 S. Duffy Road.Leaf pickup will be held on regular pickup days with a maximum 75 bags per household. Bags must be no larger than 30-gallon biodegradable bags.

PENN TWP — An Educational Improvement Tax Credit informational meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. April 6 at Penn Christian Academy, 199 W. Airport Road.Participants will learn steps for making businesses take advantage of tax credits.One-third of the students at Penn Christian Academy benefit from scholarships made through EITC funds.For information and to register for the meeting, call 724-586-5200.

FORD CITY — The Armstrong School District will conduct the General Educational Development test from 6 to 10 p.m. April 15 and 16 at the Ford City High School Library, 4th Ave. and 11th St. Registration deadline is April 9.Applicants must be Pennsylvania residents, be at least 18 and not enrolled in school. Those 16 to 18 must present a written request from an employer, a school or an armed forces recruiting officer.Registration forms are available at the Armstrong School District Administration Building, 410 Main St., Ford City.
