Crystalline Wonders: The Incredible World of Snow takes place at 2 p.m. Feb. 10. This 90- minute indoor program will examine the formation and identification of snowflakes, and their impact on humans and other living things. If it is snowing, participants will step outside to catch a flake and examine it up close. “Planning and Planting a Garden of Your Own” registration deadline is Feb. 9 for the program set for 2 to 4:30 p.m. Feb. 17. The workshop is recommended for participants age 16 and older; cost is $10. The registration deadline for the Great Backyard Bird Count is Feb. 13.
