OFFERINGS

ACTS (Adoring Christ Thru Song) choir and orchestra, along with a slide show presentation, will present “Acts,” a choral music drama based on the Acts of the Apostles.

The cantata will feature soloists portraying Paul, a scholar who has learned of his awesome ignorance, and Lydia, a successful merchant. The cantata also features a cast portraying Peter, Luke, Silas, Ananias, Helena and Jailer.

The performance schedule is:

7 p.m. Saturday, North Main Street Church of God, North Main Street.

7 p.m. Sunday, Center Presbyterian Church, Center Street, Slippery Rock.

7 p.m. March 16, St. John's Reformed Church, Route 68 and Benbrook Road.

The Appalachian Bible College Chorale will perform at 7 p.m. today at First Baptist Church, 221 W. New Castle St.The chorale is comprised of nearly 40 students who share their ministry in local churches, Christian schools and other ministries annually.The college is located in Mount Hope, W.Va.There is no admission fee. A love offering will be taken.

VALENCIA — The fourth annual Men's Venison Dinner will be at 5 p.m. Sunday at Glade Run United Presbyterian Church, 1091 Pittsburgh Road.A free will offering will be taken.Pete Gonzalez, former quarterback for the Steelers, Colts and Bills, will be the guest speaker.For reservations, call the church office at 724-898-3503.

There will be a Holy Hour for Peace at 7 p.m. Monday at St. Paul Church, 128 N. McKean St. There will be prayers for peace, vocations, Our Lady of Perpetual Help, rosary and benediction.There will be a Divine Mercy Holy Hour at 7 p.m. March 19 at St. Paul with stations of the cross, divine mercy chaplet and benediction.
