Associated Artists of Butler County features the Butler County High School Art Show through Friday. Knoch, Karns City, Mars, and Seneca Valley are participating. The show includes about 250 pieces of art including photography, painting, prints, ceramics and 3-D drawings. The Art of Recycling Show continues through May 11 in the Cranberry Township Municipal Center, 2525 Rochester Road. Saxonburg Area Artists Cooperative, 215 Main St., rear, in Saxonburg, hosts its fourth annual High School Senior Invitational Exhibit opening with a reception from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Saturday. The students and their instructors will be on hand. Admission is free, and refreshments will be served. The exhibit will continue through June 1 during regular gallery hours of noon to 8 p.m. Fridays and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturdays. The high schools invited this year include Freeport, Knoch, Avonworth, Deer Lakes, Highlands, Saint Joseph, Shaler and Valley. The cooperative will be awarding $1,000 in Art Achievement Awards due to a contribution from the Henschel family.
