Associated Artists of Butler County offers its spring show and sale through June 21. The deadline for the first AABC/CTCC outdoor sculpture competition is extended until Saturday. There is a guaranteed purchase award of $5,000 for the winner. The Art Center is offering two Art Camps this summer for children ages 6 to 12 and one Art & Drama Camp. Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., will host “Traditional Confucianism: The Core of Asian Civilization” at 6:30 p.m. June 20. Betty Anderson will lecture on “What Makes Chinese Chinese.” Museum hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays. Carnegie Museum of Art, 4400 Forbes Ave., hosts The Playground Project, presenting playgrounds from around the world, to prompt discussion of childhood, risk, public space, and education. Museum hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Saturdays, with additional hours until 8 p.m. Thursdays, and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Admission is $17.95 for adults, $14.95 for senior citizens, $11.95 for students with ID and children ages 3 to 18, and free for children younger than 3.
