The Associated Artists of Butler County plans to open the annual Nature and Wildlife exhibit Sept. 20 at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St. An opening reception is set for 7 to 9 p.m. that day.

The exhibit will continue through Oct. 12.

BRADY TWP — The Old Stone House will host a presentation by Civil War storyteller Steven Anderson at 11 a.m. Sept. 21.Anderson will present the program “Homegrown Heroes: Pennsylvania Communities in the Civil War.”Anderson, a storyteller and tour guide at the Gettysburg battlefield for the past 10 years, will tell stories about the role of Pennsylvania communities during the Civil War, including several stories about Butler County.Admission is free, but reservations are required and can be made by calling 724-738-4964 or e-mailing oldstonehouse@sru.edu.
