Think Pink! Aviary hosts Flamingo Fest
PITTSBURGH — Flamingo Fest is set for Saturday through Monday at the National Aviary.
Visitors can meet members of the resident flamingo flock and participate in special trainer talks.
Activities for all ages will relate flamingo facts, stories, crafts, and even a uniquely choreographed dance performed by the aviary's flamingos.
Flamingo Fest hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Activities are included with admission, which is $13 for adults, $12 for senior citizens, $11 for children ages 2 to 18, and free for children younger than 2.
The aviary, 700 Arch St., also features daily baby penguin meet-and-greets and the Canary's Call exhibit, which showcases four signature bird species and a number of other birds from around the world.
Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.
