NEW CASTLE — Auditions for the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical “State Fair” will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. April 27 and 28 at the New Castle Playhouse, 202 E. Long Ave.

Those auditioning should be prepared to sing a vocal selection. They may take sheet music, since an accompanist will be available, sing a cappella or use an accompaniment CD with no vocals.

Show dates are July 25 to Aug. 3, Friday through Sunday the first weekend and then Thursday through Sunday the second weekend. For more information, call 724-654-3437.
