Butler County Parks and Recreation Department's free Family Concert Series begins at 6:30 p.m. Tuesdays and runs through Aug. 12 in the Carousel Shelter at Alameda Park, off New Castle Road. Playing Tuesday will be Groove. Call 724-284-5383.

Musicians' Concert Band has planned five concerts for Thursdays this summer. Tonight's concert will be “Sousa.” All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. at Butler Intermediate High School. Admission is $5. Visit musiciansconcertband.com.

Oil Region Indie Fest will return for its seventh consecutive year from 5 p.m. to midnight Friday in Oil City's north side business district. More than 50 musical acts will be featured. The festival will kick off at 5 p.m. with a drum circle on Seneca Street. The public-participation activity will mark the start of the street fair, which runs until 9 p.m.Hartwood Acres, Allison Park, will have a Father's Day Car Cruise from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday followed by oldies music with Pure Gold at 7:30 p.m. Call 412-767-9200.
