LYNDORA — The Butler High School Class of 1944 will hold its 65th reunion Saturday at the Tanglewood Senior Center, 10 Austin Ave.

All unregistered class members and their friends are invited to attend after 7:30 p.m. at no charge.

BUTLER TWP — The 16th annual Chef Tasting Party and Auction will be held 4 to 7 p.m. Sept. 13 at the Mansion, Route 8 south of Butler. The event benefits Community Care Connections.Chefs and caterers will provide appetizers, entrees and desserts as well as wines, gourmet coffee and tea and beers from local distributors. EVANS CITY — Evans City Library will hold story hours on Tuesdays and Wednesdays starting Sept. 22.Tuesday's session will be from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m., and Wednesday's sessions will be from 10:45 to 11:30 a.m. and 1 to 1:45 a.m. Story hour is for ages 3 through kindergarten age.Bookworms, a club for readers in grades 3 to 6, will meet once a month at 6 p.m. starting Oct. 22.For information, call the library at 724-538-8695.

Seniors for Safe Driving will hold highway education programs for seniors 55 and older.Successful completion of the program will provide participants a 5 percent discount on automobile insurance premiums for three years.The following programs are certified by the state Department of Transportation.
