Maridon Museum, 322 N. McKean St., presents the next in the “The Collectors” series, “Elephants-Gentle Giants” by Cyndy Sweeney, at 7 p.m. today. The museum’s collection includes Asian art and pieces of German Meissen porcelain. Gallery hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Saturdays, except holidays. Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for senior citizens and students, and free for children younger than 8. Guided tours are available with advanced notice for no extra charge. Society for Contemporary Craft, 2100 Smallman St., is hosting “Crafted,” its annual exhibition of handmade functional ceramics which is meant to encourage people to reflect on the relationship between the food we consume and the objects that hold it.
