GROVE CITY — Grove City College will host Pilgrims in Place from Thursday to Saturday to explore interactions between Christianity, literature and notions of pilgrimage and place.

Steven Bouma-Prediger of Hope College in Holland, Mich., will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday on "Sojourners in a Time of Homelessness." He will also give a chapel address at 9:30 a.m.

Farrell O'Gorman, novelist and associate professor of Catholic studies at DePaul University in Chicago, will speak at 1:30 p.m. Friday on Seeking Our True Country in American Literature.

SAXONBURG — Saxonburg Library will host author Andrew Kovacs at 7 p.m. March 16. Kovacs will recount his experiences as a 19-year-old Marine in Korea in 1950. The program is free and open to the public. Korean War veterans are urged to attend. For information, call 724-352-4810.

LYNDORA — SS. Peter and Paul Ukrainian Orthodox Church will hold its annual bake sale March 16 and 17. On sale will be nut rolls, poppy seed rolls and twistbread with or without raisins.
