FORD CITY — The Armstrong School District will conduct the General Educational Development 2002 test from 6 to 10 p.m. April 13 and 14 at the Ford City High School Library, 4th Ave. and 11th St. Registration deadline is April 9.Applicants must be Pennsylvania residents, be at least 18 years old and not enrolled in school. Those 16 to 18 must present a written request from an employer, a school or an armed forces recruiting officer. WEXFORD, Allegheny County — The Greater Harmony Chorus will perform April 10 at the Christopher and Banks fashion show at the Chadwick in Wexford. The show is from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. The event is a fundraiser for the chorus and features a basket raffle and jewelry and book sales. The Armstrong County Health Care Consortium will give three $1,000 education awards to individuals currently employed in a heath care setting and enrolled in a post-secondary health care education program pursuing a degree, diploma or certificate.
