Adelee Smith

Adelee Smith of Sarver celebrated her 80th birthday with a family dinner at the J-Barn in Sarver.

The former Adelee Stepp was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Sarver. She married Glenn Smith Aug. 4, 1951, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport.

They have seven children, Richard Smith of Sarver, Larry Smith of Sarver, David Smith of West Virginia, Marcia Wetzel of Saxonburg, Jeanne Born of Sarver, Sheryl Johnston of Freeport and LuAnn Smith of Butler.

They also have 13 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Smith is retired from Risch’s Supermarket.

She is a member of Trinity Luthern Church in Freeport and the monthly luncheon for the Class of 1950.
