Daniel D. Seitz Jr., 37, of Butler died unexpectedly Thursday.

Born Nov. 4, 1976, in McKees Rocks, he was a son of Daniel D. Seitz and Cindy (Hutchison) Johnston.

Dan enjoyed playing pool.

Surviving are his father and stepmother, Daniel D. Seitz and Gretchen Seitz of Gibsonia; his mother, Cindy Johnston of Butler; one son and daughter, Tyler Seitz and Kayla Seitz, and their mother, Julie McCurdy; one daughter, Danika Seitz; two brothers, Randy Patterson of Ross Township and Erle (Barb) Patterson of Deer Lakes; one sister, Melinda Johnston of Butler; his grandmother, Virginia Seitz of Bellevue; and a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.

SEITZ — Friends of Daniel D. Seitz Jr., who died Thursday, June 12, 2014, will be received at the Geibel Funeral Home, 201 E. Cunningham St., Butler, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday.Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Monday at the funeral home. Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Daniel Seitz Jr. Memorial Fund, C/O First National Bank, 4960 Route 8, Allison Park, PA 15101.
