New 'Celebrate Butler County' events Saturday in Cranberry
CRANBERRY TWP — Celebrate Butler County, a new event that is a spin-off of the Celebration of Chocolate, will feature shopping, demonstrations, samples and vendors from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Pittsburgh Marriott North, 100 Cranberry Woods Drive.
The event is sponsored by the Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau.
Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children age 12 and younger. Save $1 per adult admission by taking a nonperishable food bank donation. Admission includes a ticket for one of the many door prizes.
Live demonstrations will be given by WestPark Alpacas at 11 a.m.; Playthings Etc. at noon; Speckled Hen Chocolate at 1 p.m.; Reclamation Brewing at 2 p.m.; and Cranberry Consignment Gallery at 3 p.m.
Special appearances will be by “Babe” the Butler BlueSox Ox; “Scoop” of the Butler Eagle from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.; Miss Butler County USA 2015 Kayla Gallagher from noon to 2 p.m.; 2015 Big Butler Fair Queen Rachel Laughlin; and alpacas from Asgard Acres Alpaca Farm outside.
About 45 vendors will participate as well.
