“Clear, Cool Water” by Fred Young along with many other art pieces will be available in the annual Christmas Show and Sale at The Butler Art Center.

In response to requests from member artists, The Butler Art Center has changed the reception night for the annual Christmas Show and Sale to Dec. 9. The time is 7 to 9 p.m.

Artists may continue to take in artwork and crafts until Dec. 2. Entrants are allowed 20 pieces for an entry fee of $25. When a piece sells it may be replaced.

There also will be a silent auction of art that has been left behind or donated by artists to The Art Center.

The show and sale will continue through Dec. 30.

The Art Center is a Toys for Tots drop off site, and a box is available now for donations of toys that are unwrapped and in the original packaging.

Regular gallery hours at The Art Center, 344 S. Main St., are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Fridays and noon to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
