LOS ANGELES — A Seneca Valley High School graduate appeared on three episodes of the game show “Jeopardy!” this week and last week.

Michelle DeGrothy, who graduated in 2005, appeared on episodes that aired Jan. 10 and Monday and Tuesday, and won $25,900. She lost to Sarah McNitt of Ann Arbor, Mich., in her third appearance.

DeGrothy is a helicopter pilot in the U.S. Navy and lives in Florida.

After graduating from Seneca Valley, she attended the U.S. Naval Academy in Annapolis, Md., where she graduated in 2009.
