Butler grad Fennell gets baseball honorCALIFORNIA — Butler graduate Mick Fennell, a senior outfielder at California (Pa.) University, has been named a preseason National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Third-Team All-American.Fennell hit .422 last season and led the PSAC with eight triples. He hit seven home runs, had 29 RBI, 15 stolen bases and 59 runs scored.

SR grad Reott winner for TitansNEW WILMINGTON — Slippery Rock High School graduate Kelsey Reott, a senior on the Westminster College women’s swim team, won the 100 backstroke and 200 backstroke in the Titans’ 154-146 loss to Grove City Thursday.
