The Saxonburg Ambulance EMS crew was recognized Aug. 4 by Allegheny General Hospital at PNC Park as part of the Great Saves program. The crew on Feb. 19 treated Amanda Hinchberger, far right, for head injuries when her car hit a tree off Great Belt Road in Jefferson Township. The crew is led by Chuck Lewis, ambulance commander, fifth from right. Great Saves, which is co-sponsored by LifeFlight, recognizes crews whose actions result in good outcomes.
