Elizabeth S. Dillner Lio
Elizabeth S. Dillner Lio, 55, of Penn Township passed away Monday.
Born in Natrona Heights on Aug. 21, 1957, she was the beloved daughter of Loretta (Alexandrunas) Dillner of Gibsonia and the late Glenn L. Dillner.
She was the loving wife of Sam Lio; devoted mother of Joshua, Micah and Tavita Lio, all at home; sister of Gloria (Richard) Marshall of Valencia, Donald (Jane) Dillner of Gibsonia, Martin (Carla) Dillner of Valencia, Allan Dillner of Gibsonia, Lisa (Daniel) Rothrauff of Gibsonia and Joanne (Ricardo) Salazar of California.
A loving and poetic soul, Beth was a tremendously gifted artist, florist and writer who constantly created works of beauty and generously gave them to family and friends. She was uncommonly loving to her beautiful family. A longtime catechist with the Holy Sepulcher and the St. Richard Parishes, she graciously shared her many talents and, in death, gave again as an organ donor. Beth also worked for many years for her family at the Dillner Family Farm in West Deer.
LIO — The family of Elizabeth S. Dillner Lio, who passed away Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, will welcome friends from 6 to 8 p.m. today and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Schellhaas Funeral Home, 5864 Heckert Road, Bakerstown 15007.A Mass of Christian burial will be in the St. Richard Church, Gibsonia, at 10 a.m. Friday with Father Thomas A. Sparacino as celebrant.
