Passavant Retirement Community
Passavant Retirement Community is a not for profit and faith-based senior living community.
Part of the Lutheran SeniorLife family, Passavant has grown from our first days in 1905 with eight elders in a Victorian home to our current community of more than 600 residents. Passavant is a recognized leader in providing opportunities for seniors to live an abundant life.
Passavant Retirement Community is in the quaint and historic town of Zelienople. This allows our community members to have access within walking distance to the selection and diversity of the town's businesses and amenities.
We are active members of the Chamber of Commerce, and enthusiastically support the efforts of the chamber and business community to continue and improve the vitality of Main Street.
Passavant has plenty of vitality on its own, too. Our community members can participate in a variety of programming to support their active lifestyle.
There are 30 different fitness classes offered weekly in addition to educational, social, recreational, artistic, vocational and spiritual themed classes and activities. In a given day, residents might participate in yoga classes, take an Exploritas class on 20th century presidents, attend a performance of The Black and Tans (bag piping duo), or take a sculpture class, without leaving the 42-acre campus.
Passavant's community life department arranges a constantly evolving series of programs and activities to challenge, entertain, teach or find purpose to use the incredible skills of our residents.
Residents enjoy maintenance-free living. Home and appliance maintenance, snow removal and grass cutting are handled by the maintenance department, allowing residents to pursue their passions.
If you are over 60 years of age and are interested in living in a beautiful community, with many new potential friends and activities, please give us a call at 888-498-7753, or visit our Web site at www.lutheranseniorlife.org.
