Donna Tasker
Donna Lee Tasker, 90, of Saxonburg, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, at her home.
Born Nov. 4, 1933, in Jefferson Center, she was the daughter of William J. Street and Merry Elizabeth McCall Street.
Donna worked as a postal clerk in Saxonburg for 30 years. She was the owner of Yards-n-Yarns fabric shop for many years. She was a member of Clinton Presbyterian Church, where she had served as a deacon, the Saxonburg GFWC and the Clinton Township Historical Committee. She volunteered at the Saxonburg Area Library, Meals on Wheels and 4-H, and she was one of the founders of the Peaceful Patchers. She enjoyed quilting and knitting, having made more than 100 quilts, and knitted for Caps for Kids.
Surviving are husband, Kenneth E. Tasker, whom she married Dec. 7, 1956; her son, Kevin (Barb) Tasker of Cabot; her daughter, Amy (John) Albert of Saxonburg; four grandchildren, Cody Tasker, Travis (Kirsten) Tasker, Patrick (Heidi) Albert and Elizabeth Albert; and one great-grandson, Theodore.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
TASKER — Friends of Donna Lee Tasker, who died Sunday, Oct. 27, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, at Clinton Presbyterian Church, 197 Glade Mill Road, Saxonburg, with the Rev. Kelly Angleberger officiating.
Interment will follow in Clinton Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
