Randy D. Thomas, 70, of Cabot, passed away on Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, at West Penn Hospital.

Born Feb. 16, 1954, in Natrona Heights, he was the son of David Thomas and Grace Brewer Thomas.

Randy worked as a heavy-equipment operator for Heckett/Harsco, retiring in 2019. He was a member of Saxonburg Memorial Presbyterian Church. He enjoyed his Farmall tractors, farming, hunting, building wooden clocks, spending time with his grandchildren and going to their sporting events.

Surviving are his wife, Sherrie (Antoszyk) Thomas, whom he married June 22, 1974; two daughters, Leigh Thomas and Abby (Matt) Brinker, both of Cabot; his sister, Patty Leard of Bluffton, S.C.; his brother, Scott Thomas of Cabot; four grandchildren, Molly, Ellie, Cooper and Lucy; and his cousins and best friends, Lowell and Bob Lang.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

THOMAS — Friends of Randy D. Thomas, who died Friday, Oct. 25, 2024, were received on Sunday, Oct. 27, at FOX FUNERAL HOME, Saxonburg, PA.

Services will be private.

Private interment will be in Saxonburg Memorial Church Cemetery.
