Nellie Azizi Varga, 88, of Valencia passed away Thursday.

She was born Dec. 27, 1924, in Pittsburgh and was the youngest daughter of the late Paul and Azizi (Melick) Michael.

She was a retired nurse and a member of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed playing cards, doing jigsaw puzzles and playing bingo.

She is survived by one son, Raymond Varga of Valencia; and four daughters, Adele Duffy and Joan Peterson, both of Mars, Anne Varga of San Antonio, Texas, and Leda Lyon of Smethport, Pa. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Janine Terry, Jennifer and Timothy Lyon.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Raymond John Varga, who passed away in 2005.
