CRANBERRY TWP.- Victory Christian Church on Thursday will host a live webstream event from nationally syndicated radio talk show host Dave Ramsey, who will discuss the economy.

The meeting, "Town Hall for Hope," will be shown at 8 p.m. Thursday at the church, 21150 Route 19. Ramsey will host this meeting from LifeChurch in Oklahoma City, Okla.

It will be broadcast free to thousands of locations across the country.

With many Americans living in fear about the economy, Ramsey plans to spread a message of hope through this meeting.

A personal money management expert, Ramsey is a national radio personality and best-selling author of "The Total Money Makeover," "Financial Peace" and "More Than Enough." He is also host of "The Dave Ramsey Show" on Fox Business Network.

"The solution to America's economy is to get people to believe again. It's time to connect with families to instill hope and optimism in our economy and our country. We the people are the healing agents," said Ramsey in a news release.

In the first half hour of the program, Ramsey will talk about the economy, recession, foreclosures and other issues. Then, Ramsey will spend an hour answering questions.

Throughout the meeting, Ramsey will take questions from viewers by phone, e-mail, Twitter, Facebook, and other networking sites.

"We're doing the event to give people hope and for them to hear a different perspective on the economy," said Rev. Matt Gates of Victory Family Church. "There is a need out there for hope in these tough economic times."

Victory's 1,000-seat auditorium has two jumbo screens.
