MUDDY CREEK TWP — Families who are interested in enrolling children at Portersville Christian School, 343 E. Portersville Road, can attend an open house at 7 p.m. Monday.

School administrators and faculty will meet prospective students and provide information about the school's programs. Campus tours and applications will be available.

The school offers a comprehensive educational program from Pre-K through 12th grade. The current student enrollment is 260.

CRANBERRY TWP — Due to popular demand, the Cranberry Public Library, 2525 Rochester Road, will add another morning book club. The Fourth Thursday Book Club will be from 10 a.m. to noon beginning Jan. 22. January's selection is “The Storyteller” by Jodi Picoult.A second new book group, Young Adult (at Heart!) Book Club, is for those looking to keep up with what their teens are reading or those older than 18 just looking for other adults who share a love of teen literature. The book club will meet from 7 to 8 p.m. starting Wednesday. January's selection is “Cinder” by Marissa Meyer.Copies of the books are available at the library.
