Wal-Mart evacuated due to propane leak
TARENTUM — Nobody was hurt when a propane tank on a lift vehicle leaked, prompting crews to evacuate a Wal-Mart store in Frazer Township.
Assistant manager Renee Williams said that nobody was hurt during the incident which lasted from about 7:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Friday at the store near the Galleria at Pittsburgh Mills mall.
Frazer police say firefighters determined the propane tank leaked near a ventilation fan, which is why fumes spread throughout the store.
