Mercyhurst to cut faculty
ERIE — Mercyhurst University is planning to cut an unspecified number of faculty.
President Michael Victor tells the Erie Times-News that the private, Catholic school needs to make the cuts to be more responsive to market demands.
The school plans to offer early retirement and separation packages.
