PITTSBURGH — A trial has been delayed for a suspended Western Pennsylvania teacher accused of intimidating a female student who accused another teacher of having sex with her.

Al Lindsay, the attorney for Plum High School teacher Drew Zoldak, opposed delaying the trial from March 14 to June 7. But an Allegheny County judge granted the continuance after prosecutors said two police officers and a student witness now in the Marines couldn’t make the earlier date.

Lindsay says his client is being unfairly lumped in with three other male Plum teachers who are awaiting trials starting next month on charges they had inappropriate sexual relationships with female students.
