Donald L. Kretzler

Donald L. Kretzler, 66, of Evans City died Friday at his home.

Born Aug. 2, 1941, in Beaver County, he was the son of the late Lawrence F. and Clara McCommon Kretzler.

Mr. Kretzler was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Evans City, the Kane Sportsman Club and the AFL-CIO Steelworkers Local 1211.

He retired as a boiler operator in 1997.

A U.S. Army veteran, he was an avid hunter and he enjoyed playing golf.

Mr. Kretzler is survived by his wife, Margie Heasley Kretzler, who he married April 23, 1960; two brothers, Fred and Robert Kretzler, both of Evans City; a sister, Dorothy Lipp and her husband, Frank, of Evans City; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Lawrence "Dutch" Kretzler and William Kretzler, and sister Clara "Peg" Beadnell.

<B>KRETZLER </B>— Friends of Donald L. Kretzler, who died Friday, Dec. 7, 2007, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at the <B>BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME,</B> 116 E. Main St., Evans City. Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. David Saylor, his church pastor, officiating.
