Christian school scheduling visitsPORTERSVILLE — Portersville Christian School, 343 E. Portersville Road, is scheduling visits for its open house at 7 p.m. Monday.Call the office at 724-368-8787 to schedule a visit for the open house.Step-Up Day, registration slatedSt. Wendelin School, 210 St. Wendelin Road, will have a Step-Up Day and registration for students in kindergarten through eighth grade from 9 to 11 a.m. Tuesday.Incoming students can participate in class lessons with their current grade level students while parents receive and complete information about registration for the 2016-2017 school year.An evening open house and registration will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.For each session parents should bring copies of birth certificates, immunization records and baptismal certificates, if applicable.Registration forms are available at www.stwendelinschool.com.
Overdose training planned in MarchButler County Drug and Alcohol Programs will sponsor two overdose training sessions featuring the use of Naloxone:7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Cranberry Township Municipal Center Council Chambers, 2525 Rochester Road7 to 8:30 p.m. March 7 at the Butler County Training Center, 227 W. Concordia to host fraud seminarJEFFERSON TWP — Concordia Lutheran Services will offer a seminar on mail and telephone fraud from 2 to 3 p.m. March 2 in the Haven I dining room, 112 Marwood Road.The seminar leader will be Pittsburgh Postal Inspector Ian Ortega. Harmony Museum sets flea marketHARMONY — The Harmony Museum will host a flea market from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 5 in the museum’s Stewart Hall, 218 Mercer St. Food will be available.Table fees and proceeds of sales from the museum table benefit the museum.Donations of clean, quality items for the museum’s sales table may be left at Stewart Hall on March 4.
