Wolf makes pick for court
HARRISBURG — Gov. Tom Wolf has nominated a statewide appellate court judge, Sallie Mundy, to fill a temporary opening on the Pennsylvania Supreme Court created in the court’s latest scandal.
Mundy, 53, has served since 2010 on the state Superior Court, which hears appeals in criminal and civil court cases.
Mundy must still be confirmed. If confirmed, she could run next year for a 10-year term.
