John V. Eichenlaub

John V. Eichenlaub, 67, of Cabot passed away at 3:30 p.m. Friday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

He was born Sept. 24, 1946, in Butler, the son of the late Elmer F. and Agnes (Varhola) Eichenlaub.

John owned and operated JR Dental Laboratory for 38 years.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served in Vietnam.

John was an avid golfer and hunter and loved spending time with his family.

Surviving are his wife of 45 years, Carol (Keasey) Eichenlaub; two daughters, Heather (Matthew) McDonald of Chicora and Megan Best of Butler; three grandchildren, Evan McDonald, and Haydn and Sarah Best; one brother, Dr. David (Ginny) Eichenlaub, DDS of Lewistown, Pa.; two sisters, Carol (Richard) Smith of Butler and Linda (Charles) McFadden of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

EICHENLAUB — Friends of John V. Eichenlaub, who died Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, will be received at the Young Funeral Home, 127 W. Jefferson St., Butler, on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m.Services will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev.
