A student finishing his driving test as part of his license examination collided with a pole Thursday afternoon in front of the Butler office of the Department of Motor Vehicles.

The student and test examiner suffered no injuries. There was minimal damage to the vehicle’s hood following the collision. Butler Township Police, Butler Ambulance Service and VA Butler Fire and Emergency Services all responded to the call at Butler’s Point Plaza around 1:30 p.m.

Township police said the student was pulling the car into a parking space following the test when the accident occurred.
