Rudy 'Pap' M. Petrowski
Rudy “Pap” M. Petrowski, 87, of Plum, formerly of New Haven Lane, Butler, passed away Wednesday at the LGAR Health and Rehab Center.
Born on Dec. 19, 1926, in Leetsdale, Pa., he was the son of the late Tata and Caroline Petrowski.
Rudy was a proud U.S. Army veteran and was a gracious man who served as deacon at the Presbyterian Church in Evans City.
He owned and operated Evans City Appliance.
Rudy was a member of the VFW, the Moose and the Elks. He enjoyed singing in the church chorus and was an avid sports fan. A true family man, Rudy was a loving father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great-great-grandfather, who will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.
He is survived by a daughter, Michele (Joe) Myers-Cepicka of Plum; a sister, Frances Foriska of Tennessee; two grandchildren, Josh Myers and Vicki Hermann; four great-grandchildren, Michael, Nick and Chris Hermann and Alexander Myers; and a great-great-grandson, Brody Hermann.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine Petrowski, who passed away on Feb. 2, 2002; a daughter, Donna Dunn; a brother, Edward Petrowski, and four sisters.

Main St., Evans City.A funeral ceremony with military honors will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with Presbyterian minister, the Rev.
