David Tirk Jr., 59, of Cabot, passed away on Monday, Sept. 2, 2024.

He was born in Butler on Feb. 16, 1965, to Judith (Schuller) Tirk and the late David Tirk Sr.

David graduated from Knoch High School and worked as a foreman and equipment operator at Kutchko Nursery up until his illness.

He had a deep love for the Lord, his family, his dogs and his friends. David dearly loved his nieces and nephews and took immense pride as he deemed himself the “favorite uncle.” He enjoyed classic muscle cars, listening to loud music, a cold beer and, most of all, playing in the dirt.

He is survived by his mother, Judith; and his siblings, Tina (Mark) Suhan, Kelly Tirk Andrasko, Michael (Stacie) Tirk, Todd (Jennifer) Tirk and Troy Tirk.

TIRK — Family and friends of David Tirk Jr., who died Monday, Sept. 2, 2024, will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A prayer service, officiated by the Rev. Paul Fish, will immediately follow in the funeral home. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
