Students at

Oakland Elementary School conducted a food drive to benefit St. Vincent de Paul.The school donated about 800 items to help make nearly 400 dinner baskets that will be handed out Dec. 18.The Rotary Club provided vouchers that are added to the baskets to provide each family with a turkey from Friedman’s Freshmarkets.Mrs. Amy Scheidt’s third grade class donated the most, collecting 186 items.———The Butler Chapter of the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees (PASR) selected
