Margaret ‘Peggy’ Bocchi
Margaret “Peggy” Grace Bocchi, 75, of Butler, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her loved ones.
Born Nov. 14, 1948, in Pittsburgh, she was the daughter of the late Clyde Adams and Margaret (Weigand) Adams.
Peggy loved her family, especially her grandkids, quilting and crocheting. She was well known for her memorable laugh, and even when people were upset, her laughter was infectious.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her sons, John (Tina) Bocchi of Butler, Bryan (Lynnanne) Bocchi of Mechanicsburg, and Kevin (Vanessa) Bocchi of Butler; a daughter, Amy (Erik) Straughn of Herman; brothers, Mark Adams and Rick (Lori) Adams; a sister, Lynn Taylor; grandchildren, Scarlette, Lawrence, Cameron and Andrew; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Sylvester Bocchi, after 47 years of marriage; and a brother, Jim Adams.
BOCCHI — Visitation for Margaret “Peggy” Grace Bocchi, who died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at BOYLAN FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER OF CONNOQUENESSING TOWNSHIP, 856 Evans City Road, Renfrew.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at All Saints Parish, St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St., Butler.
