Rosemary Warner

Rosemary Ann Warner, 99, of Hilliards, peacefully passed away the morning of Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024.

Rosemary was born on Oct. 25, 1924, in Pittsburgh, and was the daughter of the late Henry and Josephine M. (Henne) Gaus.

She was of the Catholic faith and was a member of St. Faustina Parish. She enjoyed attending the West Sunbury Senior Center.

Rosemary is survived by her eight children, John “Jack” (Bernie) Warner of Hilliards, Vincent “Paul” (Carol) Warner of Hilliards, James (Maureen) Warner of Pittsburgh, Elaine (Peter) Szura of Butler, Charles (Marsha) Warner of Pittsburgh, Michael “Mickey” (Michelle) Warner of West Sunbury, Mary Ann (John) Veltrie of Allison Park and Susan Szura of Butler; 23 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Warner, whom she married on Nov. 16, 1946, and who died on Jan. 27, 2001; one sister, Florence (Gaus) Wiesen; and two brothers, Vincent Gaus and Bertrand Gaus.

WARNER — Family and friends of Rosemary Ann Warner, who died Sunday, Sept. 1, 2024, will be received for visitation from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at WILLIAM F. YOUNG FUNERAL HOME, 132 Main St., West Sunbury.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Faustina Parish, St. Louis Church, 202 W. State St., West Sunbury, with the Rev. Adam Verona officiating.

Interment will be held privately.
