Amy Jo Welton
Amy Jo Welton, 53, of Karns City (Roseville), died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, at ACHM after a brief illness.
Born Oct. 20, 1970, in Butler, she was the daughter of Stephen and Lois (Hicks) Sirich.
A 1988 Karns City High School graduate, Amy Jo had been employed for the past 34 years as a CNA at Sunnyview Rehabilitation and Nursing Center.
In September 1991, she married James Welton, who survives.
Amy Jo was a member of the “Roseville Ranch.” She enjoyed fishing and relaxing in her hammock, and she loved going on buggy rides and spoiling Carson and Hadley.
Surviving are her husband, James Welton of Roseville; one daughter, Jaycee Welton of Roseville; her father, Stephen Sirich of East Brady; one brother, Jeff (Wendy) Sirich of Roseville; two nephews, Jake and Zach Sirich; and one niece, Meghan Sirich.
She also is survived by a brother-in-law, Frank (Mandie) Farone of Roseville; and her dear friends, Paige and Derek Heeter.
She was preceded in death by her mother.
WELTON — Friends of Amy Jo Welton, who died Saturday, Aug. 31, 2024, will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, at BUECHELE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICES, 707 Kellys Way, East Brady.
A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
The Welton family suggests memorials in Amy Jo’s name be made to the Laube Cancer Center, One Nolte Drive, Kittanning, PA 16201.
