The Penn State Master Gardeners of Butler County in partnership with the Butler Chamber of Commerce will present the 10th annual Spring Garden Market and Home Show on May 19 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This year's event has been relocated to Alameda Park, providing additional space and a beautiful setting for both vendors and attendees.

The event will include a variety of nurseries, crafters, businesses and food vendors including the popular Master Gardener plant sale and silent auction.

When it's time to take a break from shopping and browsing through the variety of displays, visitors are invited to attend a workshop on utilizing rain barrels in your garden presented by the Penn State Master Gardeners at 11 a.m.

In addition, at 1 p.m. Laura Deeter from Ohio State University will present a workshop on Easy Garden Maintenance and Perennials.

Admission and parking are free and free shuttle service will be provided from the Friedman's parking lot in the Point Plaza Shopping Center.
