Today is another birthday and we could never have known when you were born forty nine years ago that we would only get to celebrate sixteen birthdays with you, but there will be no party, cake or presents to mark the passing of another year.

All we have now are our precious memories of you and past years. These memories are precious treasures God has willed to us to help us endure our grief and pain of losing you.

You brought so much love and laughter to your family and friends. You are gone but you left behind so many memories and nothing can take them away.

Though time may ease the pain of losing you, it will never change the love and memories we have of you. You won't be here with us today, but you'll always be here in our hearts.

For those who love you, this day will always have a special place in our hearts and we'll ask God's choir of angels to sing "Happy Birthday" to you. We love you and miss you so much.
