Maurhoff

Grace P. Maurhoff, 93, of Sarver, passed away on Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, at her home.

Born Nov. 2, 1930, in Sarver, she was the daughter of James Mitchell and Myrtle Wade Mitchell.

Grace was retired from Saxonburg Ceramics, where she had been a manager. She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church. Grace loved her dogs and enjoyed traveling, gardening, golfing, bicycling and cross-country skiing with her husband of 55 years.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death her parents; husband, Milo C. Maurhoff, who died on April 30, 2018; her brother, James Mitchell; and five sisters, Irene Westerman, Myrtle Miller, Jean Skillen, Jesse Mitchell and Charlotte Mitchell.

MAURHOFF — Friends of Grace P. Maurhoff, who died Monday, Aug. 26, 2024, will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. Wednesday at FOX FUNERAL HOME, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Parish, St. Joseph Catholic Church, 315 Stoney Hollow Road, Cabot.

Interment will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.

Memorial donations may be made to the Butler County Humane Society or to St. Jude Hospital.
